Through the Memorandum of Understanding, the Institutes are committed to providing joint events across the world, collaborating on consultations where views are shared, and promoting career paths and disciplines in the built environment.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the previous 20 years, this commitment has also benefited the professionals within membership. The Memorandum of Understanding encourages joint networking and personal development events, supporting the continuing learning and upskilling of these professions. The Institutes also actively encourage membership of both organisations by providing a 25% reduction on the standard rates for those aspiring to dual membership.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Blythe OBE, Chief Executive of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciob.org\/\">CIOB<\/a> said:\u00a0\u201cBy working together, we can help to improve the skills, knowledge and professionalism of our members to ensure that the highest standards are met in the built environment.
