Space-saving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/underfloor-air-conditioning\/34951\/\">underfloor air conditioning<\/a> was originally specified by Consultants WPP and Architects <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buckleygrayyeoman.com\/home\/\">Buckley Grey Yeoman<\/a>.\u00a0 This second phase of refurbishment focuses on the third floor at Glasshouse Street, removing the old lift area and extending the space through to 100 Regent Street.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" td-modal-image alignleft wp-image-40813 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Glasshouse Street\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large-696x464.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large-630x420.jpg 630w, https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_1444-Large.jpg 1620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With underfloor systems, fully conditioned air is fed into the plenum by zonal downflow units (CAM), which is then supplied into the workspace via fan terminal units (Fantile).\u00a0 The Fantile units feature integrated controllers where users can personally adjust fan speed and temperature to suit their own comfort.\u00a0 Systems can be configured with underfloor or high level return and can easily integrate with passive or other ventilation systems.<\/p>\n<p>The system specified at 33 Glasshouse Street is a CAM-C Direct Expansion system with supply and return air distributed via the floor plenum.\u00a0 The Fantiles are standard TU4 fan terminals with EC motors for enhanced energy efficiency.\u00a0 Instead of a rooftop chiller providing chilled water, the building uses Daikin Heat Pump units to maximise use of space and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the creation of contemporary office accommodation, the main entrance and reception area has been reconfigured and bespoke features created at selected areas; including a potential roof terrace on floor six.
