My influence so far has resulted in positive feedback from our clients on how much easier it is to digest this new information. As such, I felt that these principles should be used more widely and turned to the UK BIM Alliance to disseminate this message.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dan submitted his idea to the Alliance as a project. With the assistance of other Alliance members, \u2018The Constructing Plain Language Pledge\u2019 was developed and shared for consultation.<\/p>\n<p>Built Environment Lead at The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theiet.org\/\">Institute of Engineering<\/a>, Rick Hartwig added: \u201cAs part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/uk-bim-alliance-the-end-of-the-beginning\/41065\/\">UK BIM Alliance\u2019s<\/a> processes, we are keen to ensure that our projects are open, transparent and accessible. Anyone who saw the original draft of this document will appreciate how much influence the consultation period has had on its development.
