Electrical engineering specialist Trace Software International<\/a> has developed elec calc BIM, software which it claims can effortlessly integrate electrical calculations into the BIM process<\/h2>\n

With\u00a0elec calc BIM<\/a>, users can design, calculate and size the electrical installation in the digital model in IFC 4 format, generated by any 3D architecture software (for example Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp).<\/p>\n

For\u00a0Revit users, the elec calc BIM plug-in enhances collaboration between the two programs. The compatibility with the electrical objects available on the\u00a0BIM&CO<\/a>\u00a0platform is also an important resource for integrating and calculating the products of the manufacturers.<\/p>\n

elec calc BIM\u00a0offers routing capabilities. The user calculates the lengths of the cables generated in the digital model and it is also possible to perform different simulations to compare different routing scenarios.<\/p>\n

The 3D model<\/a> allows for conflict detection and the\u00a0BIM Collaboration Format (BCF) technology, integrated into the software, allows you to manage\u00a0all communications and alerts with other operators.<\/p>\n
