Kier has been appointed to Highways England\u2019s six-year Regional Delivery Partnership framework to deliver works on Band B projects exceeding \u00a3100m in the north west, north east, Yorkshire and Humberside<\/h2>\n

Highway England’s framework has given c.\u00a32bn to be shared across the north region.<\/p>\n

Under the new arrangement, 13 contractors will become ‘delivery integration partners’ and will design and construct motorways<\/a> and major A-road projects across England\u00a0under NEC4 standard terms from 2019 until 2024.<\/p>\n

Kier<\/a> will work closely with Highways England and other partner organisations to deliver work on the\u00a0A585 Windy Harbour to Skippool and the A5036 Port of Liverpool<\/a> tranche 1 schemes.<\/p>\n

Looking forward to working with Highways England, Dave Wright, executive director at Kier Highways, said: \u201cWe have extensive experience of working on the strategic road network across the country and will bring this experience with us as we embark upon this new contract.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus on collaborative working and existing relationship with Highways England and our regional supply chain, will enable us to work successfully alongside the other partner organisations to deliver schemes aligned to the Regional Investment Strategy (RIS) period 1 and 2 schemes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new framework is set to replace the Collaborative Delivery Framework that Highways England currently operates.<\/p>\n

This announcement follows Kier’s two other three-year extension contracts with Highways England.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
