Kier\u2019s former executive board member\u00a0Nigel Brook\u00a0has joined\u00a0Robertson Construction\u00a0to expand its southern operations<\/h2>\n

Nigel Brook will take up his new position this month and previously left Kier as part of a board reshuffle in August.<\/p>\n

As managing\u00a0director of Robertson Construction<\/a> South business, Brook will strategically grow its\u00a0reach in\u00a0selected markets throughout England and Wales.<\/p>\n

Nigel Brook will develop Robertson\u2019s relationships, transforming business strategy to deliver ambitious profitable growth.<\/p>\n

Commenting on his new position, he said: \u201cRobertson has made impressive strides in recent years despite the challenging market conditions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am excited to join a family-run business that is now leading the way in so many aspects of the construction industry, from workforce development to digital construction<\/a>, and I look forward to helping drive\u00a0future growth across the business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brook was previously executive director for construction and infrastructure services at Kier but stepped down with fellow executive director Nigel Turner five months ago when Claudio Veritiero was promoted to chief operating officer.<\/p>\n

Kier said the board reshuffle was designed to simplify its management structure as part of the on-going \u2018Future Proofing Kier<\/em>\u2019 cost-saving programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n
