Beal Homes<\/a> has submitted plans for the first phase of a large-scale development of 800 homes in Goole, East Yorkshire<\/h2>\n

Beal Homes plans to build houses on a 73-acre site in Goole over a 15-year period, creating a development with an estimated value of \u00a3130m.<\/p>\n

Outline planning<\/a> consent was granted for development of the Goole site in 2016 and now, having secured the land, Beal has submitted a \u201creserved matters\u201d application for the first phase of 196 open market properties and 10 affordable homes<\/a>, as well as a main access road and other essential infrastructure to open up the site.<\/p>\n

Dependent on planning approval, it is expected construction of the first homes will begin this summer.<\/p>\n

The overall scheme will be the largest residential development in the Goole area for many years and will make a major contribution to the requirements of the East Riding Local Plan for the delivery of almost 2,000 new homes to be built in Goole up to 2029.<\/p>\n

The Goole site, which covers an area equivalent to almost 50 football pitches, is north of Rawcliffe Road and adjacent to the M62 and the development will include the provision of a new primary school and additional open space.<\/p>\n
