Galliford Try Partnerships<\/a> and Ealing Council<\/a> have signed a development agreement to deliver 470 new homes at Perceval House, worth an estimated \u00a3275m<\/h2>\n

The proposed development at Perceval House includes 50% affordable homes, with more than half of these homes provided at social rent<\/a> and London living rent.<\/p>\n

In addition, the plans include a new council headquarters building, a new library and customer services centre, new retail premises and residential and commercial parking areas.<\/p>\n

Galliford Try Partnerships and the council will now consult the local community and key stakeholders on the Perceval House proposals, before a planning application is submitted later this year.<\/p>\n

The construction of the new civic centre comes at no cost to council taxpayers as the receipts from the sale of the land and residential units will offset the cost of building the new headquarters.<\/p>\n

Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council, said: \u201cOur offices are in a key town centre location, but at the moment we aren\u2019t making the best use of this important site.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese plans will deliver much-needed genuinely affordable homes<\/a> in our town centre, supporting our pledge of 2,500 new homes. At no cost to the council, it will also provide us with a brand-new customer service centre and library, and a smaller, more modern and cheaper to maintain and run office block.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stephen Teagle, Chief Executive of Galliford Try Partnerships, added: \u201cWe are delighted to help deliver a new civic centre and look forward to working with the council on this high-quality mixed-use scheme. It will make a significant contribution of affordable homes to the borough and will also provide a range of retail and commercial benefits.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur London team is currently working on a number of major regeneration projects<\/a> throughout the capital and we look forward to using this expertise here in Ealing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Perceval House scheme is expected to be completed by 2025, subject to planning permission.<\/p>\n
