Modular smart homes provider Project Etopia<\/a> has appointed Alex Fink as board advisor to chief executive Joseph Daniels<\/h2>\n

Project Etopia aims to tackle the housing crisis<\/a> and provide young people with more affordable, desirable homes. Alex Fink will be involved in developing the company\u2019s global strategy.<\/p>\n

Alex Fink began his career at Lehman Brothers in 2008 and retains a role as Head of Investor Relations at property investment platform British Pearl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Both British Pearl and Project Etopia have received substantial investment from Fink\u2019s father, the former Conservative Party Treasurer Lord Stanley Fink.<\/p>\n

Project Etopia is expanding rapidly and began development of 47 modular homes in Corby<\/a>, Northamptonshire, in December. The first four houses are almost complete and will be joined by a further 27\u00a0houses and 16 apartments. It is Project Etopia\u2019s first major development and will pose as an alternative to bricks and mortar homes among Corby\u2019s growing population of young commuters who take advantage of the town\u2019s hour and ten minute journey time to London.<\/p>\n

The company also entered the self-build market this month (February), launching E-Tribus, which is a partnership between Project Etopia and self-build specialist Tribus Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alex Fink, Director of Project Etopia, said: \u201cProject Etopia is rapidly sending modular house building mainstream. It\u2019s an incredibly exciting time for a young company to be in this sector and Joseph has done a tremendous job surrounding himself with people who will deliver his vision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph Daniels, CEO of Project Etopia, added: \u201cIt\u2019s great to have Alex on board. We\u2019ve had tremendous support from the Fink family and Alex\u2019s experience of developing businesses means he has the insights to help us drive the Etopia proposition forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
