It has the potential to make things on site much easier. (Check out <em>PBC Today\u2019s<\/em> \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?s=Guide+to+modular+construction\"><em>Guide to modular construction<\/em><\/a>\u2019).<\/p>\n<p>Installing several mechanical and electrical systems on a live construction site can be challenging, with limited space, health and safety considerations.<\/p>\n<h3>The offsite\u00a0construction guide highlights:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Offsite construction for services distribution \u2013 namely: vertical services risers; larger assemblies; horizontal distribution;<\/li>\n<li>Offsite construction for packaged rooms \u2013 and inside or outside?<\/li>\n<li>If offsite construction is right for the project in hand?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The guide\u2019s author, John Sands, Principal Consultant, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/tag\/sh-bsria\/\">BSRIA<\/a>, said: \u201cAs with any technology or process, the use of offsite construction needs to be considered carefully to get the best from it.
