Transport for London<\/a> (TfL) has announced Grainger plc<\/a> as the preferred bidder for its 3,000 home build to rent programme across the capital<\/h2>\n

The build to rent programme will deliver 3,000 homes<\/a>, with a minimum of 40% affordable on all new planning consents.<\/p>\n

TfL has identified the first phase of sites at some of London\u2019s most well-connected locations, such as Canning Town in the east and Southall in the west. Each site will be considered individually and TfL and Grainger plc will work with the local borough to identify the needs of the area.<\/p>\n

Working with Grainger plc,\u00a0<\/strong>TfL\u2019s build to rent programme is an opportunity to deliver affordable, high quality homes at pace.<\/p>\n

Dan Lovatt, head of build to rent at TfL, said:\u00a0\u201cBuild to Rent is a really exciting programme and we\u2019re thrilled at the prospect of working with Grainger plc to build the homes that our city desperately needs.<\/p>\n
