{"id":58843,"date":"2019-06-21T08:25:51","date_gmt":"2019-06-21T07:25:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=58843"},"modified":"2019-06-21T08:25:51","modified_gmt":"2019-06-21T07:25:51","slug":"sighthill-regeneration-remediation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/sighthill-regeneration-remediation\/58843\/","title":{"rendered":"Remedial works begin on remaining Sighthill regeneration sites"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/grounddevelopments.co.uk\/\">Ground Developments Ltd<\/a> has begun remedial works on the remaining sites within the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area of Glasgow<\/h2>\n<p>Ground Developments Ltd (GDL) has commenced remedial works within the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glasgow.gov.uk\/\">Glasgow City Council<\/a> and principal contractor <a href=\"https:\/\/construction.morgansindall.com\/\">Morgan Sindall Infrastructure<\/a> \u2013 the largest project of its type in the UK outside of London which is set to be complete by 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The overall Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area has plans for 1.000 homes, a school, shops and a pedestrian bridge into the city centre. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/250m-sighthill-tra-regeneration-progresses\/40486\/\">Most of the site<\/a> has already been remediated and now GDL is remediating the areas referred to as the GAP sites.
