{"id":59110,"date":"2019-06-27T15:13:01","date_gmt":"2019-06-27T14:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=59110"},"modified":"2019-06-27T15:13:01","modified_gmt":"2019-06-27T14:13:01","slug":"hse-chief-executive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/hse-chief-executive\/59110\/","title":{"rendered":"HSE announces appointment of new chief executive"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hse.gov.uk\/\">Health and Safety Executive<\/a> (HSE) has revealed the current inspector general and chief executive of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/insolvency-service\">The Insolvency Service<\/a>, Sarah Albon, will join the organisation as its new chief executive on 1 September<\/h2>\n<p>Sarah Albon joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/insolvency-service\">The Insolvency Service<\/a> in February 2015, implementing its strategy to improve service to its customers, lower its costs, and further strengthen the UK\u2019s insolvency regime.<\/p>\n<p>She will be replacing outgoing acting chief executive, David Snowball who has held the post since June 2018 and will be retiring from HSE at the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Albon said: \u201cI am honoured to have the opportunity to lead the executive of this important and hugely respected regulator.
