{"id":61468,"date":"2019-08-09T09:22:36","date_gmt":"2019-08-09T08:22:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=61468"},"modified":"2021-03-15T12:57:49","modified_gmt":"2021-03-15T12:57:49","slug":"mott-macdonald-environment-agency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/mott-macdonald-environment-agency\/61468\/","title":{"rendered":"Mott MacDonald to work on Environment Agency framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mottmac.com\/releases\/mott-macdonald-to-work-on-the-client-support-framework-for-the-environment-agency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mott MacDonald<\/a> has won a key place on the Client Support Framework (CSF) for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/environment-agency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Environment Agency<\/a> which will reduce the risk of flooding<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The CSF will run until 2023 and will be delivered through the Environment Agency\u2019s Next Generation Supplier Arrangements (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ceca-ne.co.uk\/images\/downloads\/Presentations\/NGSA-Briefing-Note-August-2017-Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NGSA<\/a>). The framework will run alongside the Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF) to mitigate the effects of climate change by reducing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/flood-data-environmental-risk\/35352\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">risk of flooding<\/a>, protecting the environment whilst promoting sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The CSF aims to provide national consistency in technical and commercial delivery, independent assurance, review and advice to the client. It is also available to other Risk Management Authorities and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/department-for-environment-food-rural-affairs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DEFRA<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mott MacDonald will work on both Lot 1 and Lot 2 of the CSF. Lot 1 will include technical delivery support including site supervision, construction design management, independent technical assurance, asset management, environmental services and reservoir engineering.
