{"id":63752,"date":"2019-09-24T14:19:56","date_gmt":"2019-09-24T13:19:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=63752"},"modified":"2021-07-20T13:33:25","modified_gmt":"2021-07-20T12:33:25","slug":"chetwoods-thrive-appointed-gazeley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/chetwoods-thrive-appointed-gazeley\/63752\/","title":{"rendered":"Chetwoods Thrive appointed by Gazeley to\u00a0deliver\u00a0\u2018Net Zero\u2019 sustainability goals"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chetwoods.com\/approach\/thrive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thrive<\/a>, the sustainability division of architects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chetwoods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chetwoods<\/a>, has been appointed by logistics developer <a href=\"https:\/\/gazeley.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gazeley<\/a> as its specialist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/e\/environmental-social-and-governance-esg-criteria.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">environmental, social and governance<\/a> (ESG) consultant<\/h2>\n<p>Thrive will work with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.savills.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Savills<\/a> to review and develop Gazeley\u2019s policies, processes, funding and decision-making, helping to formalise its approach to key social, ethical and environmental issues.<\/p>\n<p>It will also advise Gazeley on developing greener buildings for its customers, improving both how buildings are constructed and how they operate.<\/p>\n<p>This continues Chetwoods\u2019 long-term work with Gazeley on its \u2018Route to Net Zero\u2019 sustainability roadmap, which outlines a vision for creating the world\u2019s most sustainable buildings.<\/p>\n<p>Thrive will help Gazeley apply the principles from the roadmap to realise its vision of delivering innovative and environmentally friendly buildings over the next 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>This supports Gazeley\u2019s longer-term goal to become the world\u2019s most pioneering logistics developer in responding to key social and environmental issues, such as responsible sourcing and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/construction-gender-equality\/59801\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gender equality<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Tim Ward, managing director at Chetwoods, said:\u00a0\u201cThis appointment is a significant milestone in Thrive\u2019s journey and testament to our team\u2019s environmental wellbeing expertise.
