Each one leaves behind a wave of devastation to their families, friends and colleagues; it\u2019s gone too far, and something has to change<\/h2>\n<p>The MIND YOUR HEAD campaign aims to promote wellbeing throughout the UK construction industry.<\/p>\n<p>MIND YOUR HEAD is going to launch with a unique \u201cMATERIAL SUPPORT\u201d exhibition at UK Construction Week 2019. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/tag\/sh-hemsec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hemsec<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>will be providing literal support by building the exhibition stand with SIPs (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/modular-construction-news\/modular-construction-sips\/60702\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Structural Insulated Panels<\/a>). The idea is for MATERIAL SUPPORT to be something of an art gallery \u2013 so interesting and eye-catching that visitors can\u2019t help but be drawn in to see it.<\/p>\n<p>Just like an art gallery it will provoke thought and thus change. Each featured artwork, donated by leading manufacturers, will deliver a meaningful message related to mental wellbeing and raise awareness of the issue.<\/p>\n<p>RIBA president Alan Jones, leadership coach Ric Moylan, and architect and author of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/building-control-news\/happy-by-design\/47045\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Happy by Design<\/a>, Ben Channon are amongst those who will speak at the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>MIND YOUR HEAD has been specifically designed by leading psychotherapist Dr Gareth Palmer, founder of MenShouldTalk, to bring mental health issues to the surface.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cIt aims to help men examine themselves so they can understand their own histories and build strategies for coping with their problems\u2026 without robust mental health and emotional resilience, we are like buildings resting on shaky ground.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; Dr Gareth Palmer<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>When asked about the industry\u2019s response to the campaign, managing director of Agency Spring Paul Iddon, the campaign&#8217;s creative and marketing partner, said: \u201cWithin two short months we have gained the support of 17 leading manufacturers \u2013 all of whom have committed themselves to championing MIND YOUR HEAD at UK Construction Week and beyond.
