{"id":64342,"date":"2019-10-07T12:52:24","date_gmt":"2019-10-07T11:52:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=64342"},"modified":"2019-10-07T12:52:24","modified_gmt":"2019-10-07T11:52:24","slug":"canning-town-get-green-light","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/canning-town-get-green-light\/64342\/","title":{"rendered":"Major new scheme for Canning Town gets the green light"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>A new 804-home scheme at the Manor Road Quarter in Canning Town has taken a step forward after\u00a0the London Borough approves planning<\/h2>\n<p>402 (50%) affordable homes will be delivered as part of the development, along with a new two-acre park, significant highways upgrades and public space, including the creation of new walking and cycling routes through the site improving connections with the wider area.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme is being delivered by the English Cities Fund \u2013 a joint venture between Muse Developments, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/homes-england\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Homes England<\/a> and Legal &amp;
