Greenwich Millennium Village (GMV), a joint venture between Countryside<\/a> and Taylor Wimpey<\/a>, has \u2018topped out\u2019 on their structures in the Commodore\u2019s Quarter<\/h2>\n

GMV held a ceremony to celebrate the topping out of the new Commodore\u2019s Quarter, which will feature 116 one-to-three bedroom apartments and 20 three-and-four bedroom houses.<\/p>\n

Among the guests who attended the ceremony were senior representatives from Countryside, Taylor Wimpey and the Greater London Authority, as well as the Royal Borough of Greenwich and One Housing Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ceremony featured an overview of the GMV masterplan and the latest phase was provided. The attendees also watched from the roof of the Carrick apartment building, as the last batch of concrete was poured.<\/p>\n

Chris Bladon, director of Greenwich Millennium Village, said: \u201cThe topping out of Commodore\u2019s Quarter represents a major milestone for Greenwich Millennium Village, which has brought something truly unique to London \u2013 a village feel and real sense of community.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very proud of how works is progressing with Commodore\u2019s Quarter and look forward to completing the new homes, commercial units and village square.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commodore\u2019s Quarter development<\/h3>\n

Commodore\u2019s Quarter comprises 6 apartment buildings and 20 houses. These homes are located around a brand new village square with play area and space for retail.<\/p>\n

Residents can enjoy relaxed, waterside living with excellent travel connections, world-class entertainment nearby and all of the buzz of the UK\u2019s capital on their doorstep. Once complete, GMV will deliver 3,000 new homes.<\/p>\n

A range of 1-4 bedroom homes are currently available for purchase at Greenwich Millennium Village, ranging from \u00a3399,995 for a 1-bedroom apartment to \u00a3900,000 for a 4-bedroom Townhouse. London Help to Buy is available on homes up to \u00a3600,000.<\/p>\n

The internal fit-out of the buildings within Commodore\u2019s Quarter will be progressed throughout next year, with the first residents moving in during September 2020.<\/p>\n
