Amey<\/a> has appointed two new managing directors, Andy Halsall and Craig McGilvray, to its executive team, after Amanda Fisher was named CEO in December<\/h2>\n

The two new appointments of Andy Halsall and Craig McGilvray at Amey come a month after Fisher was named CEO<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Andy Halsall replaces David McLoughlin as managing director for utilities, while Craig McGilvray replaces Amanda Fisher as managing director of facilities management<\/a>, defence and justice business.<\/p>\n

Former business improvement director at Mitie, Andy Halsall has experience in large business improvement projects. Commenting on his appointment, Halsall said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to be joining Amey at a time when the business and wider sector are showing signs of enormous potential.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look forward to using my wealth of cross-sector experience to bring a fresh perspective and added strength to the utilities operations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig McGilvray brings two decades of executive-level experience in the construction and engineering sectors following his stint as managing director at Balfour Beatty.<\/p>\n

In a statement, McGilvray said: \u201cI am delighted to have been appointed managing director of our facilities management, defence and justice business. I am assuming the leadership of an already successful business and look forward to growing the business further.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will be focused on working closely with our customers to deliver their outcomes which will enable us to continue with the current strong performance into 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Halsall and McGilvray begin their roles with immediate effect.<\/p>\n

Amanda Fisher CEO<\/h3>\n

In December former Amey CEO, Andy Milner stepped down after nearly four years at the helm. Fisher joined Amey in 2017 where she assumed the role of facilities management, defence and justice MD.<\/p>\n

Fisher previously held several senior operational and\u00a0leadership positions\u00a0across a number of sectors, including the wider FM market, business services and highways.<\/p>\n

She became CEO in December 2019.<\/p>\n
