Harrier Park partners, Muse Developments<\/a> and Rolls-Royce<\/a>, together with new occupier RM Resources<\/a>, have broken ground on their new 195,840 sq ft building, in the heart of the 67-acre mixed-use scheme<\/h2>\n

The development, Harrier Park, is part of a long-term partnership between Rolls-Royce and Muse Developments, which will bring nearly one million sq ft of employment space, alongside hundreds of new homes and community facilities built on surplus land alongside the Rolls-Royce Aerospace supply chain<\/a> plant off Watnall Road.<\/p>\n

In January 2020 they agreed to move their UK headquarters to the 195,840 sq ft building at the scheme, following a period of sustained growth. GMI Construction Group plc<\/a> has been appointed as the scheme\u2019s main contractor.<\/p>\n

RM supplies technology and resources to the education sector, supporting schools, teachers and pupils across the globe \u2013 from pre-school to higher education \u2013 including examination boards, central governments and other professional institutions.<\/p>\n

An ‘innovative development’<\/h3>\n

Dan Needham, development director at Muse Developments, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a proud milestone for everyone involved at Harrier Park. It\u2019s also a great opportunity to bring partners together and we look forward to working with RM, GMI and Rolls-Royce as the scheme progresses.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe firmly believe that we\u2019re delivering an innovative development here, which blends together commercial space and employment opportunities, alongside a mixture of vibrant homes to suit everyone, amenities, infrastructure improvements<\/a>, and open space for the community to enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Monique Louis, managing director at RM Resources, said: \u201cIt is an exciting time within RM Resources \u2013 this marks the investment in the future growth of the business, enable us all to be in one site, using new technology and systems to enable us to compete with not only the traditional suppliers in the market, but also with those who only have an online offering.<\/p>\n
