Kier<\/a> has been reappointed to the Essex construction framework, which has a combined value of between \u00a335m to \u00a350m per annum across three lots<\/span><\/h2>\n

Kier secured a place on lot 2 for projects valued between \u00a31-4.5m and lot 3 for projects exceeding \u00a34m on the Essex construction framework.<\/span><\/p>\n

The framework will oversee the procurement of a range of new build and refurbishment schemes across the education sector<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The previous\u00a0framework<\/span><\/h3>\n

Kier was awarded both the first project and the largest project on the framework. White Bridge Primary School in Loughton, a \u00a32.5m project consisting of nine classroom extension and refurbishment of three existing classrooms, was completed in December 2017.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Beaulieu Park School in Chelmsford, a \u00a331m project delivering a primary and secondary school, sports facilities and associated external works, was completed in February 2019. In February 2020, Kier was appointed to the final job on the previous framework. <\/span><\/p>\n

It was selected to deliver Wickford Pupil Referral Unit, a \u00a35m project delivering specialist services for 25 primary school children and 75 secondary school children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark Dady, managing director at Kier Regional Building Eastern, said: \u201cWe\u2019re very pleased to have been successfully reappointed to the Essex construction framework. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Essex County Council<\/a> to deliver projects procured through the framework.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The four-year Essex construction framework will begin work in March 2020 and finish in March 2024. <\/span><\/p>\n
