Canterbury City Council<\/a> has appointed Thomas Sinden<\/a> to refurbish and remodel existing student accommodation at\u00a0<\/strong>Parham Village into much-needed council homes<\/h2>\n

As part of its ongoing commitment to increase the number of council homes<\/a>, the \u00a32.4m project will see 1-13 Albert Mews, Riverdale House and 1-3 Parham Road\u00a0converted into general needs houses and apartments for local residents.<\/p>\n

Graeme Sinden, director of Thomas Sinden, said: \u201cWe are delighted to be appointed by Canterbury City Council to deliver these desperately-needed council homes at Parham Village.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a wealth of experience working with local authorities and housing associations to deliver high-quality sustainable homes and look forward to refurbishing the four blocks into 37 homes and apartments for the local people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hyde Group framework<\/h3>\n

Thomas Sinden has recently been appointed to two lots on the Hyde Group framework<\/a>, to deliver new homes and commercial developments.<\/p>\n

The appointment consists of Lot 3 for the South region on projects between \u00a35m and \u00a310m and Lot 5 for projects between \u00a35m and \u00a310m in London.<\/p>\n

Paul Cooke, business development director, Thomas Sinden, said: \u201cWe are extremely pleased to have been selected for two lots on the Hyde Group framework.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs an organisation, we have a great deal of expertise and experience delivering mixed tenure residential developments as well as commercial projects and look forward to working closely with Hyde, its subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver its planned development programme.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
