Advice<\/h3>\n

SCI\u2019s Advisory Desk<\/a> provides fast, independent, authoritative advice on all aspects of the use of steel in construction. Questions are dealt with confidentially by a team of experts who include engineers, architects and building physicists.<\/p>\n

Typically advisory questions are dealt with by phone or email, however in some cases clients commission SCI to provide more comprehensive support, site inspection, advanced analysis and design reviews.<\/p>\n

Information<\/h3>\n

SCI produces the latest technical information on steel in building and construction<\/a>, which is disseminated through online libraries, including our own knowledge-based website Steelbiz, as well as through publications, training and events.<\/p>\n

Strategic partnerships ensure the latest information reaches the widest relevant audiences throughout the industry.<\/p>\n

Consultancy<\/h3>\n

Our engineering consultancy services cover much of the technical work associated with SCI such as product development, sustainability and research. It also encompasses a wide variety of specialist engineering areas including; vibrations, analysis and acoustics.<\/p>\n

Assessment & specification<\/h3>\n

SCI\u2019s assessment<\/a> services address increasingly demanding industry regulations. Our technology services team combine software, engineering expertise and product-specific design tools to support the most cost-efficient and appropriate use of our clients\u2019 products, this in turn helps new products get specified by design engineers.<\/p>\n
