Thames Water<\/a> has unveiled the successful contractors on the initial two lots of its \u00a32.6bn AMP7 capital work programme<\/h2>\n

The AMP7 capital work framework has been awarded in two lots \u2013 non-infrastructure and infrastructure<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The contractors will improve and maintain Thame Water\u2019s network of underground water pipes and sewers. The successful partners will also carry out work on above-ground pumping stations, treatment sites and reservoirs.<\/p>\n

AMP7 capital programme winners:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n
Lot one \u2013 non-infrastructure<\/strong>: Costain, MWH Treatment, Mott MacDonald Bentley, Kier Infrastructure, Glan Agua, Galliford Try, Barhale, Bridges Electrical<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Lot two \u2013 infrastructure:<\/strong>\u00a0Kier Infrastructure, Morrison Utility Services, Galliford Try, J Browne Construction, Barhale & Clancy Docwra<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

John Bentley, capital delivery director at Thames Water, said: \u201cThis is a really difficult but exciting time for us and our suppliers as we mark the start of the delivery phase of AMP7.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know we have some tough challenges to get through now and lying further ahead, but we\u2019re all set to work together in providing resilient and reliable clean and waste water<\/a> services to our 15 million customers across London and the Thames Valley.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark Pengelly, group managing director for Kier Infrastructure<\/a>, commented: \u201cWe are pleased to have been appointed to the Thames Water AMP7 capital programmes framework.<\/p>\n

\u201cAMP7 includes a number of complex projects and significant programmes, of which both our utilities and infrastructure teams have the combined capabilities to provide the highest levels of project delivery over the next five years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe look forward to delivering new projects through this framework and enhancing the infrastructure for the communities Thames Water serves.\u201d<\/p>\n
