Urban Splash<\/a>\u00a0has delivered ten modular homes to Port Loop in Birmingham in just four\u00a0working days this week, as the company continues to reopen its business<\/h2>\n

Having recommenced work at\u00a0construction sites and its\u00a0House by Urban Splash\u00a0modular factory<\/a> on 4\u00a0May, regeneration company Urban Splash\u00a0has announced the\u00a0reopening of other areas of its business.<\/p>\n

In a safe and swift return to work, Urban Splash\u00a0delivered ten modular homes to Port Loop in Birmingham.\u00a0The\u00a0House by Urban Splash\u00a0<\/em>homes were delivered to Port Loop before being craned into place onsite.<\/p>\n

Urban Splash also announced that sales offices across the country, including Port Loop\u00a0as well as\u00a0New Islington in Manchester\u00a0will\u00a0reopen\u00a0by appointment only\u00a0this week.<\/p>\n

Colleagues and visitors will\u00a0adhere to strict social distancing<\/a> and hygiene measures, with new signage in place, hand sanitising and the provision of PPE.<\/p>\n

Getting the housing market moving<\/h3>\n

Chairman Tom Bloxham MBE, said: \u201cThere\u2019s been much encouragement from the government this past week in getting the housing market moving.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re\u00a0excited\u00a0to play\u00a0our\u00a0part in that, safely moving our business forward and, as we have done at Port Loop this week, creating new homes using modern methods of construction<\/a>, which can be swiftly delivered to site.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have also taken the decision to reopen our sales offices; we have put measures in place to ensure that we can do this in\u00a0compliance with the Covid-19 guidelines,\u00a0and keep our colleagues and our customers safe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will therefore be opening by appointment only; we look forward to welcoming customers back to our sites across the country in this way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alongside the reopening of sales offices, customers can also continue to view homes via the Urban Splash virtual viewings platform which allows them to take tours of new homes from afar.<\/p>\n

The company\u00a0confirmed that non-site\u00a0and non-sales\u00a0colleagues will continue to work remotely from home,\u00a0and that\u00a0the\u00a0five\u00a0shareholding\u00a0directors\u00a0will continue\u00a0to take a 30% reduction in pay\u00a0during\u00a0lockdown\u00a0and\u00a0while\u00a0other colleagues remain on furlough.<\/p>\n
