{"id":77446,"date":"2020-06-10T12:32:21","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T11:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=77446"},"modified":"2020-06-10T12:32:21","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T11:32:21","slug":"15-6m-road-improvement-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/15-6m-road-improvement-contract\/77446\/","title":{"rendered":"Interserve wins \u00a315.6m road improvement contract for Hertfordshire"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.interserve.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Interserve<\/a> has secured a \u00a315.6m contract from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hertfordshire.gov.uk\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hertfordshire County Council<\/a>, through the Eastern Highways Alliance Framework 2, to upgrade a section of the A602 in Hertfordshire<\/h2>\n<p>Interserve will deliver improvements to the A119 roundabout, including a segregated left turn lane for eastbound traffic, new street lighting and a single carriageway off-line realignment of the existing A602 carriageway.<\/p>\n<p>Substantial earthworks are required and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/interserve-installs-new-bridge-over-a63\/66881\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a new bridge<\/a> over the Dane End tributary is to be constructed.
