Residential developer Mulbury<\/a> has submitted plans to deliver 39 new homes in Winsford on a 1.2-hectare site off Grange Lane<\/h2>\n

The new homes in Winsford will be delivered on behalf of Jigsaw Homes Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If approved, the homes would transform a site off Grange Lane formerly used as a builder\u2019s yard and other commercial premises.<\/p>\n

The scheme is situated between existing homes on Grange Lane and the playing fields belonging to The Winsford Academy school.<\/p>\n

The proposed \u00a34.1m development is made up of 19 semi-detached homes of two and three-bedrooms and 20 one and two-bedroom cottage style flats in a mixture of red brick.<\/p>\n

Affordable homes in Winsford<\/h3>\n

Greg Mulligan, co-founder and director at Mulbury, said: \u201cThis is a great opportunity to provide well-built affordable homes<\/a> in Winsford.<\/p>\n

“The development has been carefully designed to be sensitive to existing homes in the area and will bring a fresh new look to this dilapidated site.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re proud to be partnering with Jigsaw Homes Group to build these quality homes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joanne Bonnington, assistant director of development at Jigsaw Group, added: \u201cJigsaw has an ambitious plan for developing new high quality, affordable properties across the North West in order to help alleviate the housing crisis<\/a> in the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs such we are very much looking forward to working with Mulbury to develop new homes in Winsford.”<\/p>\n

The development will use the existing site access off Grange Lane with residents and visitors arriving into a cul-de-sac.<\/p>\n

Most of the mature trees to the site boundary will be retained as part of the landscaping plan and all properties will have good-sized rear gardens and off-road parking.<\/p>\n

The reserved matters application comes after outline planning consent for the scheme was granted in February 2019.<\/p>\n

PWA Planning<\/a> has advised Mulbury on planning matters, while MPSL Planning and Design<\/a> is acting as architect for the scheme.<\/p>\n

Subject to planning permission, Mulbury would aim to make a start on site in January 2021.<\/p>\n

The new homes in Winsford are expected to be completed in the spring of 2022.<\/p>\n
