The collaboration with both Office Depot and Ethstat Ethical Stationery C.I.C sees a number of progressive changes, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/social-value-architecture\/66645\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">social value<\/a> in mind.<\/p>\n<h3>Ethstat Ethical Stationery C.I.C<\/h3>\n<p>Ethstat Ethical Stationery C.I.C is a social enterprise who invest their profits back into local communities.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership with Ethstat Ethical Stationery C.I.C demonstrates Amey\u2019s support for social enterprises, outlined by the charter. Amey will be supporting farmers with challenges caused by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/building-control-news\/climate-change-insulation\/62183\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">climate change<\/a> and unpredictable incomes in coffee-growing communities, and support areas impacted by lack of food resources.<\/p>\n<h3>Office Depot<\/h3>\n<p>Partnering with Office Depot will see Amey moving from daily to weekly consolidated orders, creating huge environmental and carbon reduction benefits; saving the equivalent annual energy usage for 10 average UK homes.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, 66% of Amey\u2019s spend on office products and services will now have green credentials. For instance, Amey will be switching to EcoPerformance paper, reducing wood usage by 32% and waste by 6%.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this relationship, Amey will also be participating in the Office Depot\u2019s \u2018Eureka\u2019 programme, which will see the infrastructure services provider engage with schools across the country, supporting young people to get involved in educational activities.<\/p>\n<p>The new contracts promise opportunities with social and environmental benefits to be gained.
