Ideal Modular Homes<\/a> has joined the government\u2019s Northern Powerhouse Partner<\/a> (NPH) programme to boost the northern economy<\/h2>\n

The Northern Powerhouse Partner is the government\u2019s vision to boost the impact and contribution of the North to the UK economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The NPH\u2019s partner programme is an essential part of the northern powerhouse agenda, bringing together and connecting innovative businesses who all believe in the strong economic potential of the north.<\/p>\n

Ideal Modular Homes\u2019 appointment is recognition of the contribution the business has made to the scheme.<\/p>\n

Delivering the future of housing, Ideal has developed advanced and innovative modular home<\/a> manufacturing facilities.<\/p>\n

The modular homes are eco-friendly, accessible and more cost-efficient than conventional construction methods.<\/p>\n

Strengthening the northern economy<\/h3>\n

Since its inception, building on the northern economy\u2019s strength has been at the forefront of Ideals\u2019 ethos.<\/p>\n

Job creation, training and apprenticeships, business and charity partnerships, affordable housing projects and community building are all ways in which Ideal actively plays a role in strengthening the northern economy<\/a> and emboldening the North\u2019s impact through community collaboration.<\/p>\n

The coming year will see Ideal investing in a new generation of workers with its Learning to Work programme. An apprenticeship scheme designed to provide training and qualifications for young people struggling with employment, while also helping build the North\u2019s offsite construction industry.<\/p>\n

The company is also working with students at the University of Liverpool<\/a> applying a hands-on learning experience for students wanting to work in the industry.<\/p>\n

Ideal\u2019s OURhome initiative, created in collaboration with shedkm<\/a>, is aimed at housing associations, local authorities and councils to deliver the affordable, sustainable homes that the region so desperately needs.<\/p>\n

A second northern-based factory, increasing job prospects in northern regions and ultimately improving local economies, will be opening in late 2020 taking the company\u2019s total output to 2,000 modular homes per year.<\/p>\n

Invest in the supply of the North’s housing offer<\/h3>\n
