{"id":81786,"date":"2020-09-01T09:33:04","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T08:33:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=81786"},"modified":"2021-02-22T14:49:45","modified_gmt":"2021-02-22T14:49:45","slug":"two-regional-directors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/two-regional-directors\/81786\/","title":{"rendered":"Bowmer + Kirkland appoints new board members"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Head of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandk.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bowmer + Kirkland&#8217;s<\/a> Southern division, Matthew Cruttenden and Neil Brook who leads the North West team are joining the main board<\/h2>\n<p>Matthew Cruttenden and Neil Brook will continue as regional directors of their respective divisions but will also make a major contribution to the running of Bowmer + Kirkland.<\/p>\n<h3>Industry experience<\/h3>\n<p>Cruttenden joined the company as a trainee <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/search-to-find-the-most-promising-young-surveyors-begins\/41632\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">quantity surveyor<\/a> in 1990 and within 15 years was heading Bowmer + Kirkland&#8217;s special projects division.<\/p>\n<p>His experience spans most sectors and he has been instrumental in some of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/net-zero-office-scheme\/80065\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">B+K&#8217;s largest and prestigious projects<\/a> including Reading International Business Park, Center Parcs at Woburn and Warner Bros Film Studios and Harry Potter Visitor Attraction at Leavesden.<\/p>\n<p>Following a restructure in 2014, Matthew was appointed regional director of the Southern Region.<\/p>\n<p>Brook came to B+K in 1989 as a senior engineer \u2013 initially working across the North West region.
