National framework provider Pagabo has begun the bidding race for its new \u00a347bn developer-led public sector framework<\/h2>\n

Developers are now able to download tender documents for Pagabo\u2019s developer-led public sector framework<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The framework is dedicated to developers and aims to help construction return to a boom, while also allowing developers the opportunity to secure new work.<\/p>\n

Acting on behalf of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, Pagabo will establish a framework of developers capable of providing developer-led schemes within the UK for the whole of the public sector<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The framework will cover all types of developer-led schemes within the construction industry.<\/p>\n

Who is the framework open to?<\/h3>\n

The developer-led public sector framework will run for four years, with the option to extend for a further 16 months to April 2026.<\/p>\n

It will be open to all public sector bodies including schools, universities, local authorities, police and emergency services, NHS organisations, health and social care providers and housing associations, as well as central government departments and the Ministry of Defence.<\/p>\n

Jason Stapley, managing director at Pagabo, said:\u00a0\u201cWe are really pleased to be bringing the first developer-led framework to the market at this time to help public sector bodies procure work with developers that is critical to building a better future<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s of course been a worrying time for the sector, with construction output dropping by record amounts, but despite the exceptional circumstances we have seen a tremendous amount of client access agreements coming through \u2013 showing\u00a0the vital role that frameworks have on the road to recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cGovernment has already indicated that infrastructure around the UK is to be a focus \u2013 and a huge part of a \u2018return to normal\u2019, and a framework that allows developer the ability to procure works through a compliant, secure framework will help with creating a more robust sector all round.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn everything we do, we consider how it will create positive change for the industry as a whole. We are listening to clients and understanding which projects our public sector clients are looking to procure and when.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are sharing that information with our partners, where and when we can \u2013 to instil confidence and help them plan for the Covid recovery<\/a> phase and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n
