{"id":84489,"date":"2020-10-28T07:00:56","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T07:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=84489"},"modified":"2023-06-23T14:39:43","modified_gmt":"2023-06-23T13:39:43","slug":"aec-drone-solution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/digital-construction-news\/bim-news\/aec-drone-solution\/84489\/","title":{"rendered":"Drone solution for AEC\u00a0organisations launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esriuk.com\/en-gb\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Esri UK<\/a> has announced a new partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heliguy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heliguy<\/a> to complete its end-to-end drone solution designed for the AEC industry<\/h2>\n<p>Esri UK and Heliguy will work on joint projects, aiming to introduce new and more efficient workflows by bringing together customers\u2019 GIS and Survey teams who have traditionally worked separately on drone-related projects.<\/p>\n<p>Offering a solution to AEC organisations looking for integrated and scalable programmes, the new partnership aims to streamline current processes, from drone management and data capture, through to data analysis and better sharing of outputs across a business, including integration with BIM and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/bricsys-cad-software\/68681\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CAD workflows<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Esri UK and Heliguy are holding a <a href=\"https:\/\/attendee.gotowebinar.com\/register\/502669636526713612?source=events-web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">joint webinar on 19\u00a0November 2020<\/a> at 3.00-4.00pm, to discuss how the new partnership helps meet AEC challenges and improve workflows.<\/p>\n<h3>Maximising investment<\/h3>\n<p>Craig Evenden, head of AEC &amp;
