Will Rudd<\/a> has appointed two new managing directors, MJ O\u2019Shaughnessy and Gillian Ogilvie, to lead its Glasgow and Edinburgh offices<\/h2>\n

Taking up the top post in the Glasgow practice, MJ O\u2019Shaughnessy joined Will Rudd 11 years ago and has helped to expand the client portfolio in both public and private sectors.<\/p>\n

Both Ogilvie and O\u2019Shaughnessy will continue to be responsible for delivering a growth strategy for Will Rudd, leading teams whose collaborative approach support the delivery of creative solutions across a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on sustainability<\/a> and blue-green project design and delivery.<\/p>\n

Former managing director of the Edinburgh practice, Angus Roxburgh, will also continue to play a key role in client services on a consultancy basis.<\/p>\n

MJ O\u2019Shaughnessy<\/h3>\n

O\u2019Shaughnessy\u00a0is also credited with diversifying the Glasgow practice with projects across the residential<\/a>, healthcare, education, energy and hospitality and specialist design and tall buildings sectors.<\/p>\n

As a Conservation Accredited Engineer (CARE), he has led many high-profile projects over his tenure.<\/p>\n

MJ O\u2019Shaughnessy, said:\u00a0 \u201cIt has been an incredible journey so far and it has been truly fulfilling to have played an integral part in building the Will Rudd business and will be equally exciting to continue to lead and drive our strategic plan, developing new collaborations and cementing Will Rudd as the first choice for engineering consultancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely proud of our high-performing team, who continue to bring innovation and a customer-centric focus to our business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gillian Ogilvie<\/h3>\n

Taking the reins in the Edinburgh practice will be Gillian Ogilvie, has been with Will Rudd for 15 years and has played a key role in major projects in the Capital<\/a>, including the redevelopment of iconic Usher Hall.<\/p>\n

Ogilvie has supported the development of the Edinburgh practice having built an impressive list of significant public sector projects during her tenure and will continue to build on this as the firm also expands its private sector portfolio.<\/p>\n

Gillian Ogilvie said: \u201cI relish the opportunity to lead the Will Rudd Edinburgh team to build the business capability and develop our portfolio.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe skills and expertise of the team, coupled with their passion and creativity, has helped to make Will Rudd a progressive consultancy with a strong reputation for engineering and providing design solutions and I look forward to leading alongside MJ to shape the future of the business.\u201d<\/p>\n

They will be supported by Brian Walker, former managing director of the Glasgow office who will continue to provide a valuable contribution to Will Rudd by moving into a part-time role as creative director involved in project piloting and will also retain a non-executive board position.<\/p>\n
