Partners (PPP) model, which supports the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/sellafield-ltd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sellafield mission<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>PPP is a 20-year partnership, established by Sellafield Ltd through contracts with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kbr.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kellogg Brown and Root<\/a> (KBR), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jacobs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jacobs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/construction.morgansindall.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Morgan Sindall Infrastructure<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doosanbabcock.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Doosan Babcock Ltd<\/a> in 2019, to revolutionise project delivery at Sellafield and create a lasting legacy.<\/p>\n<p>Kier is constructing the seismically designed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/building-control-news\/concrete-waterproofing-corrosion\/56054\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reinforced concrete<\/a> structure which will act as an annex to an existing facility.<\/p>\n<p>Works will include the formwork, reinforcement and concrete, together with the installation of lattice girder roof trusses.<\/p>\n<p>Kier has an extensive history of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/construction-contract-awards-2019\/70671\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">delivering projects at Sellafield<\/a> and since 1981 it has completed in excess of 70 projects valued at \u00a3350m.<\/p>\n<h3>Supporting PPP values<\/h3>\n<p>Mark Pengelly, group managing director at Kier Infrastructure, said: \u201cWe\u2019re pleased to have been appointed to this project, which we have been awarded on the basis of our proven delivery capability in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/nuclear-fusion-research\/83246\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nuclear environment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe team has also shown a demonstrable commitment to working with the PPP members to ensure this key scheme can be delivered safely, to quality and on budget, supporting the PPP values and long-term
