The construction team at Canary Wharf Group<\/a>\u2019s One Park Drive, located in Canary Wharf\u2019s new district, Wood Wharf, have been awarded an NHBC<\/a> Seal of Excellence at this year\u2019s Pride of the Job Awards<\/h2>\n

The NHBC\u2019s Pride of the Job Awards<\/a> recognise the very best site managers and their teams across the UK, as well as the quality buildings they are constructing.<\/p>\n

Under the awards umbrella, there is the opportunity for small, medium, multi-storey and large businesses to win Seals of Excellence and Regional Awards.<\/p>\n

All site managers, if they are working on a site with NHBC warranty<\/a>, are automatically entered into the awards, meaning that there were around 11,000 sites eligible for the Pride of the Job Awards this year.<\/p>\n

The Canary Warf Group\u2019s One Park Drive team were whittled down to just 450, selected for their excellent standards on site and the quality of construction.<\/p>\n

Due to the current social distancing restriction, winners were announced virtually.<\/p>\n

Designed by Swiss\u00a0architect\u00a0Herzog & de Meuron, One Park Drive is one of the city’s most unique residential buildings with\u00a0its distinctive geometric fa\u00e7ade formed by\u00a0three unique typologies, making for a real construction feat.<\/p>\n

A great achievement<\/h3>\n

Mark Taylor, operations executive, Canary Wharf Group Contractors, said: \u201cTo be recognised with an NHBC Seal of Excellence and announced as London Regional winners is a great achievement for the team!<\/p>\n

“A massive congratulations to the construction team at One Park Drive, Wood Wharf.\u201d<\/p>\n

This major achievement is topped by the team also being named the overall winner for the London Region, meaning they\u2019re now in the running for the National Award, rounding off a difficult year for construction with a real positive.<\/p>\n
