Wates Construction<\/a> has\u00a0appointed Dan Sadler as its new offsite manufacturing director, to spearhead the expansion and development of Prism<\/h2>\n

Dan Sadler, previously\u00a0operations director\u00a0for Wates Construction in the\u00a0Midlands, has more than 15 years\u2019\u00a0experience in managing and delivering\u00a0complex building services.<\/p>\n

He will now head up Wates\u2019 Prism business and focus on expanding its offering by developing new innovations that can support greater use of offsite manufacturing<\/a>, and other modern methods of construction, on projects across the country.<\/p>\n

This expansion will form a key part of Wates\u2019 restructured approach to delivering building services, announced earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Since joining Wates in January 2019,\u00a0Sadler has proved integral to major projects including Eden School for Boys in Birmingham, and the landmark Sandwell Aquatics Centre, and has been responsible for overseeing the development of the region\u2019s M&E offering.<\/p>\n

Previously Sadler worked as an operations manager at NG Bailey\u00a0where he was responsible for leading large technical building services projects in both private and public sectors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Prism\u00a0business, which last year relocated\u00a0its offsite manufacturing facility\u00a0from York to larger premises in Coventry, has been a part of Wates Construction since its\u00a0acquisition\u00a0of Shepherd Engineering Services in 2015.<\/p>\n

Dan Sadler, offsite manufacturing director, commented: \u201cOffsite technology<\/a>\u00a0excites\u00a0me \u2013 it can deliver projects faster, safer, to higher quality standards\u00a0and\u00a0with added value\u00a0\u2013 particularly relevant to builds in the public sector.<\/p>\n
