Keepmoat Homes<\/a> has been given the green light by South Ribble Borough Council<\/a> to build 520 new homes in Farington Moss<\/h2>\n

The scheme, in partnership with Homes England<\/a>, will deliver much-needed new homes in Farington Moss, comprising of two-, three-, and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes and mews houses.<\/p>\n

Of the new homes being built, 96 will be affordable, which will be delivered as part of a joint venture with Onward Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The land has been purchased from Homes England and is a strategic housing site under the South Ribble Local Plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Keepmoat Homes has worked alongside Turley<\/a>, who provided planning and strategic communications services for the project.<\/p>\n

As part of Keepmoat Homes\u2019 commitment to creating a sustainable community, plans will also include 2.6 hectares of public open space at the heart of the development.<\/p>\n

This development will support the local area and help generate opportunities in training and employment<\/a> which will be delivered throughout the lifetime of the project.<\/p>\n

A \u2018lasting legacy in the neighbourhood\u2019<\/h3>\n

Gareth Roberts, regional managing director at Keepmoat Homes, said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to have secured planning consent for this exciting new project.<\/p>\n

Work is due to start on the new homes in Farington Moss in February 2021.<\/p>\n

The development is anticipated to take ten years to complete.<\/p>\n
