Modular housing company ilke Homes<\/a> has sold its 57-home affordable housing scheme in Drybrook, West Gloucestershire, to the Guinness Partnership<\/a><\/h2>\n

The partnership marks ilke Homes\u2019 fifth scheme as a full \u2018turnkey\u2019 developer.<\/p>\n

The scheme will deliver a mixture of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, all of which will be made available for shared ownership<\/a> or affordable rent.<\/p>\n

All of the homes will be manufactured at ilke Homes\u2019 250,000 sq ft factory in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, before being delivered to Mannings Farm.<\/p>\n

ilke Homes is able to manufacture its homes to consistently achieve at least a \u2018B\u2019 Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating, with the majority achieving an \u2018A\u2019 \u2013 making them more energy-efficient than 92% of the UK\u2019s housing stock.<\/p>\n

Delivering beautiful, sustainable homes<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt has been an unprecedented year for ilke Homes as our business goes from strength to strength. Building partnerships with many of the biggest housing associations further underpins the confidence in our sector\u201d<\/p>\n

Ed Barnes, development director for the South at The Guinness Partnership, added:\u00a0<\/strong> \u201cWe are delighted to be working with Ilke Homes using Modern Methods of Construction<\/a> to increase and speed up the supply of affordable housing in the Forest of Dean.\u201d<\/p>\n

Work on site is expected to start imminently, and to finish in December 2021, just 12 months after start on site.<\/p>\n
