{"id":88887,"date":"2021-02-11T10:32:31","date_gmt":"2021-02-11T10:32:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=88887"},"modified":"2021-02-11T10:32:31","modified_gmt":"2021-02-11T10:32:31","slug":"sustainable-contractors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/sustainable-contractors\/88887\/","title":{"rendered":"Contractors sought for 2,500 low carbon homes across Oxford"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxford.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oxford City Council<\/a> is seeking contractors for more than 2,500 low carbon homes across Oxfordshire in the next 10 years<\/h2>\n<p>One of the least affordable places for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/innovative-housing-delivery\/88213\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">housing in the country<\/a>, Oxford needs homes.<\/p>\n<p>Buying or renting is a costly business but Oxford City Council is committed to helping more people across the threshold of a home they can afford.<\/p>\n<p>Over the next 10 years, it aims to build 1,891 new homes.
