{"id":89874,"date":"2021-03-04T09:00:11","date_gmt":"2021-03-04T09:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=89874"},"modified":"2023-06-15T16:43:28","modified_gmt":"2023-06-15T15:43:28","slug":"graitec-acquires-arktec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/digital-construction\/bim-news\/graitec-acquires-arktec\/89874\/","title":{"rendered":"Graitec acquires Spanish structural analysis specialists"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.graitec.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graitec<\/a> has acquired Spanish-based structural analysis and project management company, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arktec.com\/EN\/Buy\/Where\/BuyArktec.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arktec<\/a>, to reinforce the group\u2019s position in the Spanish market<\/h2>\n<p>Founded in 1985, Arktec is headquartered in Madrid with offices in Barcelona, Lisbon and Mexico City, and delivers innovative solutions to thousands of engineers, architects, and building owners.<\/p>\n<h3>Arktec\u2019s product portfolio contains:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High-end structural analysis software (TriCalc) allowing engineers to design any type of structure<\/li>\n<li>Budget and cost estimating software (Gest)<\/li>\n<li>An ERP dedicated to construction companies (Constructo).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Arktec also provides consulting, support, and advanced training to all its customers.<\/p>\n<p>Graitec is already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/graitec-acquires-2acad\/52894\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">operating in Spain through its subsidiary 2aCAD<\/a> (acquired in January 2019). This new acquisition will reinforce the position of the group on the Spanish market, especially on the SIMULATE segment.<\/p>\n<p>Graitec will combine the strength of TriCalc and its flagship structural analysis product Advance Design to offer engineers the most powerful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/bim-workflow-design\/65387\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BIM structural analysis<\/a> product on the Spanish market.<\/p>\n<h3>\u2018Helping us to consolidate our position in Spain\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Manuel Liedot, CEO of Graitec, said: \u201cI am extremely pleased to welcome Arktec customers and staff to the group.
