Our aim is to deliver best-in-class, innovative tools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cContent creators worldwide can live their passion for motion 2D and 3D design, motion graphics, visual effects, and visualisation graphics with powerful features, speed, stability and ease of use,\u201d explains David McGavran, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/aec-software-maxon\/90613\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maxon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Maxon acquired <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redshift3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Redshift Rendering Technologies<\/a>, Inc. This step brought cutting-edge rendering technology and expertise to Maxon.<\/p>\n<p>Early 2020, Maxon and Red Giant, a provider of unique tools for editors, VFX artists, and motion designers, announced to merge to better serve the post production and content creation industries.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition of 3D sculpting application forger is adding desktop-class, professional-level sculpting workflows on mobile devices to the portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are always looking for ways to expand the creative freedom and capabilities of our artistic community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe love the fun and immediacy that forger\u2019s workflow on iPad offers for sculpting and painting. We look forward to exploring what more it can bring to our users,\u201d says David McGavran.<\/p>\n<h3>Maxon products<\/h3>\n<p>Maxon products are available via subscription bringing their customers the added benefit of ongoing product improvements and updates to functionality.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, more than ten new releases were launched. Maxon tools are regularly awarded by users and independent juries.<\/p>\n<p>Last year three products were ranked first at the Toolfarm Plugin Awards 2020:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maxon.net\/de\/cinema-4d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cinema 4D<\/a>\u00a0in the category \u2018Favourite 3D Modeling, Painting, or Sculpting Software\u2019,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.redshift3d.com\/product\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Redshift<\/a>\u00a0in the category \u2018Favourite 3D Renderer\u2019 and the Red Giant\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.redgiant.com\/products\/trapcode-suite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trapcode Suite<\/a>\u00a0as \u2018Favourite Particle or Fluid Generating VFX Tool\u2019. Cinema 4D received almost 50% of all votes in the category 3D modelling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a highly inspiring, experienced and enthusiastic team behind all products at Maxon.
