follows the publication of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/mace-2026-business-strategy\/89488\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mace\u2019s 2026 strategy<\/a>, outlining ambitious plans for the next five years as a purpose-driven business, setting bold sustainability and diversity targets.<\/p>\n<h3>A crucial time of growth<\/h3>\n<p>Smart brings a wealth of experience within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/mace-facilities-management\/76345\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FM industry<\/a>, having previously held roles at CBRE, Cushman and Wakefield, and Sodexo.<\/p>\n<p>Smart is a respected thought leader across the FM and workplace industry and has featured as a regular in various industry events.<\/p>\n<p>As head of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macegroup.com\/sectors-and-services\/operate\/facilities-management-consultancy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FM Consultancy<\/a>, Smart will grow and develop the global consultancy team and the service offer in line with Mace\u2019s strategy, to adopt new technology and approaches
