Amey<\/a> has partnered with mental health charity, Mates in Mind<\/a>, to promote positive mental wellbeing across the business<\/h2>\n

The partnership will enable Amey to roll out a comprehensive, bespoke mental health and wellbeing programme that will include all employee mental health awareness training<\/a>, as well as people manager training, to provide vital guidance and support when it comes to managing mental health within the workplace.<\/p>\n

Mates in Mind will help Amey drive positive change<\/a> for both its employees and the\u00a0industry.<\/p>\n

Taking proactive steps to address mental health in the workplace has never been more important as everyone continues to adapt to the challenges of the pandemic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taking steps towards building a thriving workplace and a positive mental health culture that supports all employee\u2019s mental wellbeing is essential.<\/p>\n

Amey has also recently introduced Wellbeing Wednesdays, which give employees the opportunity to focus on a different wellbeing topic each month and normalises the conversation around wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Encouraging a positive mental health culture<\/h3>\n

Emma Shakespeare,\u00a0Amey\u2019s\u00a0wellbeing manager,\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cBy implementing a comprehensive programme, we are encouraging a positive mental health culture that supports every employee\u2019s mental wellbeing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope that as the training will provide a better understanding of mental health issues and how to address them, everyone at Amey will feel supported in better managing their own wellbeing and that of others across the business.<\/p>\n
