Wainhomes<\/a> has appointed David Allsopp as its new land director in the Severn Valley region as part of an ambitious five-year growth strategy<\/h2>\n

Allsopp joins Wainhomes from Taylor Wimpey where he held the position of regional strategic land director and will take responsibility for land procurement<\/a> throughout Wiltshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire, West Berkshire, West Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.<\/p>\n

He is tasked with delivering both strategic and short-term sites to enable Wainhomes to achieve its target of building 500 homes per year across the Severn Valley by 2026.<\/p>\n

David will be based at Wainhomes\u2019 Severn Valley headquarters in Almondsbury, Bristol.<\/p>\n

Delivering ‘aspirational schemes’<\/h3>\n

David Allsopp said: \u201cIt is exciting to join an ambitious, privately-owned developer which not only creates beautiful homes in places people want to live but also has greater flexibility in the way land is procured.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis more personable, problem-solving and proactive approach means Wainhomes can look at a wider range of sites and be more creative when working with landowners to deliver successful schemes<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wainhomes Severn Valley managing director, Carl Haley, added: \u201cDavid\u2019s experience will be a huge boost to our business as he knows the patch inside out and he is motivated by delivering aspirational schemes where people want to settle down.<\/p>\n
