{"id":91821,"date":"2021-04-13T10:40:06","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T09:40:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=91821"},"modified":"2021-04-13T10:40:06","modified_gmt":"2021-04-13T09:40:06","slug":"planning-approval-peel-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/planning-approval-peel-london\/91821\/","title":{"rendered":"Green light for all four phases of Peel in North West London"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.countrysideproperties.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Countryside<\/a> has received planning approval from London Borough of Brent, for all four phases of Peel, in Kilburn, North West London<\/h2>\n<p>Following a detailed planning submission by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cgluk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CGL Architects<\/a>, Countryside is set to lease the second and third phase to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homegroup.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Home Group<\/a>, one of the UK\u2019s largest housing associations, at the end of this month.<\/p>\n<p>The development will deliver 308 new homes to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brent.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">London Borough of Brent<\/a> increasing the proportion of affordable homes on the site from 18% to 40% as well.<\/p>\n<p>To benefit the local community and new residents, the approved plans include a health centre, gym, a new public plaza and retail and commercial spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Sustainability is a key priority for Countryside and the approved plans ensure that the development will connect to the council\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/smart-energy-grid-greenscies\/71979\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">proposed district energy network<\/a>, providing heating and hot water for all residents.<\/p>\n<h3>A milestone in the journey for Peel<\/h3>\n<p>Daniel Layton, managing director, partnerships North London, Countryside, said:\u00a0\u201cHaving worked closely with our partners, Brent Council and Home Group, this is a significant milestone in the journey for Peel and the community in this part of the capital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to be cultivating a close-knit and sustainable community, ensuring it serves the needs of those laying their roots here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alice Lester, operational director regeneration growth &amp;
