Mace<\/a> has appointed Jon McElroy as its new managing director for international technology<\/h2>\n

Jon McElroy joined Mace in 2005 as commercial manager for the Shard. On completion of the Shard, he moved on to Mace\u2019s newly formed international data centre business in 2014 and has played a central role in the division\u2019s growth ever since.<\/p>\n

Before joining Mace, McElroy worked in lead commercial roles on numerous projects, most notably in the London commercial office and refurbishment sectors, as well as spending four years on projects in Adelaide, Australia.<\/p>\n

He takes over the role from Andrew Jackson, who has been recently appointed as Mace\u2019s new chief operating officer for construction<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mace\u2019s international technology division delivers some of the world\u2019s most advanced hyperscale datacentres.<\/p>\n

\u2018Taking the business to the next stage\u2019<\/h3>\n

Gareth Lewis, CEO for Construct at Mace, said: \u201cJon is a hugely experienced member of the Mace construction team and has built a well-earned reputation as a leader in our datacentre business, joining us in the early days.<\/p>\n

Jon McElroy, managing director for international technology at Mace, added: \u201cMace\u2019s international technology team is a leader in the sector, and I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity as its managing director at such a crucial time for our future growth.<\/p>\n
