The science is clear on the imperative to contain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/greenhouse-gas-emissions\/81176\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">greenhouse gas emissions<\/a> and keep global warming below 1.5\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>In delivering that goal, however, further progress is needed to ensure the world\u2019s poorest communities have access to electricity.<\/p>\n<p>Through the alliance, members provide mutual support and learning by sharing best practices and experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Mott MacDonald is committed to decarbonising its own business as well. Last year, the consultancy became the first in its class to be independently certified as carbon neutral.<\/p>\n<p>The consultancy has also joined <a href=\"https:\/\/racetozero.unfccc.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Race To Zero<\/a>;
