nmcn<\/a> has appointed Louise Pavitt, former Highways England regional delivery director, as operations director for major projects<\/h2>\n

An experienced civil engineer with more than 30 years\u2019 experience, highways specialist Louise Pavitt joins nmcn\u2019s infrastructure unit from Highways England.<\/p>\n

Pavitt was regional delivery director at Highways England, responsible for the performance of \u00a32.1bn major projects in Yorkshire and the North East.<\/p>\n

In her new role, she will lead the delivery of nmcn\u2019s major infrastructure schemes<\/a> and help to shape the future direction of the business unit. She will sit on the senior leadership team, reporting to Vip Gandhi, managing director for infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u2018Delivering infrastructure-critical projects\u2019<\/h3>\n

Louise Pavitt, said: \u201cA large proportion of my career has been focused on the highways sector \u2013 spanning many aspects of construction delivery, both as a contractor and in the public sector<\/a> in strategic programme delivery roles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am looking forward to applying this experience at nmcn which has some prestigious and infrastructure-critical projects underway and in the pipeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vip Gandhi, nmcn\u2019s Infrastructure managing director, added: \u201cWe are delighted to have Louise onboard \u2013 her comprehensive experience and team approach will be invaluable in helping us to ensure we continue to deliver maximum value on all our major projects and programmes moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Louise Pavitt began the role from 1 July.<\/p>\n
