Keepmoat Homes<\/a> has exchanged contracts to purchase a 300-home site on phase 2 of the new Northstowe town in Cambridgeshire<\/h2>\n

Contracts have been exchanged on the Northstowe site<\/a> between Keepmoat Homes and Homes England.<\/p>\n

Keepmoat is the second homebuilder to be appointed to build on Homes England<\/a> land at this phase of the new town, where 3,500 new homes including 1,000 town centre apartments will be developed.<\/p>\n

The new housing scheme will feature a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses, and will be designed to the Nationally Described Space Standard using sustainable and modern construction methods.<\/p>\n

Keepmoat Homes will offer a variety of purchase options on the site including open market, affordable rent, as well as discounted market sale with South Cambridgeshire Council<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Planning permission has been submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council to build 300 new homes on the Northstowe site, along with community spaces, play areas, quiet gardens, and a retail unit.<\/p>\n

Michael O\u2019Farrell, regional managing director at Keepmoat Homes, said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to have exchanged contracts on this exciting project in Northstowe and be working in partnership with Homes England to bring much-needed homes to the area.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is our fourth site in the region with Homes England and is another flagship development for us.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur plans are to deliver these new homes using modern construction methods<\/a> and, working with key industry partners, we aim to provide homes which are both energy efficient and environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re committed to providing new homes that support a range of buyers, and the variety that will be available at Northstowe will help a lot of people achieve their dream of owning a new home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mike Goulding, project director for Homes England, added: \u201cWe\u2019re pleased to welcome Keepmoat as our second developer on Homes England land at Northstowe.<\/p>\n

\u201cKeepmoat\u2019s commitment to creating sustainable homes for everyone using MMC is central to our ambitions for phase 2 of this new town for Cambridgeshire and we look forward to seeing this new neighbourhood at Northstowe<\/a> grow.\u201d<\/p>\n

Work is due to start on site in autumn 2021 and the first homes will be available in the spring of 2022.<\/p>\n
