{"id":97634,"date":"2021-08-11T15:12:48","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T14:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=97634"},"modified":"2021-08-11T15:12:48","modified_gmt":"2021-08-11T14:12:48","slug":"improve-employee-wellbeing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/health-safety-news\/improve-employee-wellbeing\/97634\/","title":{"rendered":"Amey and FormScore team up to improve employee wellbeing"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amey.co.uk\/amey-consulting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amey Consulting<\/a> has launched an employee wellbeing app, in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formscore.today\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FormScore<\/a> \u2013 employees can track their moods and be open about how they are feeling<\/h2>\n<p>FormScore is a platform for businesses to help their employees proactively manage their mental health and to gain real-time analytics into team and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/health-safety-news\/amey-employee-wellbeing\/91226\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">organisation wellbeing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After a pilot involving 300 employees that generated\u00a0nearly\u00a01,300 in-app <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/health-safety-news\/mental-health-construction-3\/97268\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">conversations about mental health<\/a>\u00a0and a\u00a022% increase in social connectedness over the pilot period, FormScore will be rolled out across Amey\u2019s business.<\/p>\n<p>The approach has been part of a commitment by Amey Consulting to find new ways of supporting the wellbeing of its workforce, following a transition of 1,800 people to remote and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/flexible-working-construction-workers\/95142\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">flexible working<\/a> in March 2020 due to Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>FormScore is a way to track mental wellbeing on a day-to-day basis using a score out of ten. The app also provides people managers with aggregated anonymous data on their teams, empowering them to act if their team is experiencing low form.<\/p>\n<h3>Understanding the importance of employee wellbeing<\/h3>\n<p>Rob Doyle, HSEQ director, Amey Consulting said: \u201cIn March 2020 we mobilised our 1,800 people to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/construction-work-from-home\/73470\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">home working<\/a>. Overnight, the physical cues of a colleague feeling down were gone. FormScore has helped us sustain a wellbeing culture built upon peer-to-peer engagement in the new world of remote &amp; flexible working.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had nearly 1,300 in-app messages between colleagues during our pilot programme. Without FormScore, I am convinced these conversations would not have taken place. That shows the positive impact of our partnership with FormScore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rob Stephenson, founder of FormScore said: \u201cI\u2019m very much looking forward to this partnership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmey Consulting is making a concerted effort to ensure mental wellbeing is a core part of their employees\u2019 lives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter the successful pilot, I can\u2019t wait to see the real change that FormScore will bring to help the organisation thrive and flourish.
